Viking is expanding its ocean cruise offerings for 2026-27 with 10 brand-new itineraries that include exciting new destinations across the UK, Ireland, the Mediterranean, and Northern Europe. The cruise line has also added 12 new ports to its list of stops, giving travelers even more opportunities to explore unique and beautiful locations. These new itineraries are available to book now.

A Variety of New Cruises and Destinations

The new itineraries range from 8 to 22 days, offering something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a short getaway or a longer adventure. Viking’s new cruises also include 12 ports that are being added to its ocean cruising program for the first time. In addition, guests can combine voyages to create longer trips, giving them the chance to visit even more destinations.

Some of the new ports include:

Fowey, England

Bordeaux, France

Limerick (Foynes), Ireland

Riga, Latvia

Klaipeda, Lithuania

Londonderry, Northern Ireland

Haugesund, Norway

Palma de Mallorca and Bilbao, Spain

Fort William and Tobermory, Scotland

Karlskrona, Sweden

These ports will take passengers to both well-known cities and hidden gems in the UK and Europe. Viking’s small-ship cruises are designed to visit smaller ports that large cruise ships often cannot access, giving travelers a more intimate and unique experience.

Starting in 2026, Viking will introduce three new itineraries:

From 2027, Viking will add seven more itineraries to its lineup, including:

  • Scenic Scandinavia & Baltic Jewels (15 days): A scenic journey through some of the most breathtaking parts of Scandinavia and the Baltic.
  • Icons of the Viking Age (22 days): A grand voyage that explores key historical and cultural sites from the Viking Age.

Viking’s Commitment to Unique Travel Experiences

Viking’s Chairman and CEO, Torstein Hagen, shared his thoughts on the new itineraries. He said, “As our award-winning fleet of small ocean ships continues to grow, we are pleased to introduce new voyages that have been thoughtfully planned for curious travelers.”

He also highlighted Viking’s focus on creating a comfortable and elegant travel experience. “Every Viking itinerary is focused on the destination, and our state-of-the-art ships, with no children and no casinos, allow guests to explore the world in elegant Viking comfort,” Hagen added. Viking’s approach prioritizes the travel experience itself, making it ideal for adults looking for a sophisticated and peaceful journey.

The Viking Difference

Unlike many other cruise lines, Viking’s ships are designed with adults in mind. They are child-free and don’t have casinos, ensuring a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The smaller size of the ships allows them to dock at ports that larger ships can’t reach, offering travelers access to lesser-known but equally fascinating destinations.

Viking has built a strong reputation for its focus on cultural enrichment and destination-driven itineraries. Guests can enjoy shore excursions that provide in-depth insights into the history, culture, and cuisine of each port. Onboard, they can relax in luxurious surroundings with world-class dining, spacious accommodations, and attentive service.

Travelers can now book these exciting new itineraries for the 2026-27 cruise season. Whether you want to explore the rugged beauty of Northern Europe, the charm of the British Isles, or the sunny shores of the Mediterranean, Viking’s new offerings have something to suit your interests.

With its focus on small-ship cruising, cultural immersion, and elegant comfort, Viking continues to be a popular choice for travelers seeking unique and memorable experiences. If you’re ready to plan your next adventure, these new itineraries offer plenty of options to explore some of the world’s most beautiful and interesting destinations.
