The Malcolm Register Park complex includes the Nature Center. The entire park, which includes a picnic pavilion, a fishing pier, a floating dock, the Dot Kelly Butterfly Garden, and a nature/learning center, was constructed in roughly 2005 or 2006.

Ocean Crest Fishing Pier

The full-line tackle shop at this well-liked fishing pier, which is close to 14th Place East, accepts special orders, and you can also buy souvenirs for yourself or presents for family members back home.

It’s a beautiful spot to look down and observe sea life swimming beneath the pier, such as sting rays. There is a place to clean your fish, and there is a lot of fishing going on. Bring your own or rent fishing equipment. The pier walk is subject to a small fee.

Visit Oak Island Light
