The Palace was made entirely of red sandstone and white marble, the magnificence of the palace is just amazing, visitors are left mesmerized by the majesty of the palace that utilizes carvings, precious stones, and mirrors.
The grandeur of the palace is enriched by the breathtaking panorama view of Maota Lake in front. The Amber Palace is nearly seven centuries old with a legendary past.
Chand Baori is situated at Abhaneri which is a small village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan, it is famous for its world’s deepest stepwell known as Chand Baori.
It has nearly 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories which are perfectly arranged in a triangular symmetry. Your mind might go a little shaky while looking down in the stepwell. The Chand Baori is quite popular for its most photogenic stepwells.
It is believed that the stepwell was built by King Chanda during the 9th century whereas the upper stories and the entrance of the step wells were completed in the 18th century under the Mughal era.
The main idea to build this stepwell was to preserve rainwater in this dry region of the state. The depth of the stepwells keeps the water cooler during the summer season. In earlier days, villagers and locals used to come here to entertain.
Pavilions were also built at one side of the Baori for the royal members.
Birla Mandir is located at the base of Moti Dungri Temple, Jaipur. It is popularly known as Laxmi Narayan Mandir, it is a pilgrimage site among the Hindu devotees. The structure of the temple looks quite beautiful, made up of sparkling white marble.
Birla Mandir has a total of three domes, each one representing a different perspective of religion. The walls of the structure are decorated with mythological quotes from the Geeta, the Holy Book of Hindus.
Birla Mandir has built on the land handed over to the Birla family by the Maharaja of that time in exchange for just 1 Indian rupee.
B.M. Industrial foundation starts construction of the temple in 1977, and it takes around eight years to complete in 1985.
Mahatma Gandhi was invited to inaugurate The Birla Mandir, and he stated that it will be honored to inaugurate the temple, but he would only accept an invitation if the temple will be open for devotees regardless of castes and creed of the society.
So, since its inauguration, Birla Temple has been opened for all, irrespective of any caste and creed.
Jal Mahal is a palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur.
Visitors are not allowed to enter Jal Mahal Palace though, but sightseeing from a distance attracts a huge number of visitors who have a deep interest to visit this Palace.
