The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City (formerly Trump Taj Mahal) is a casino and hotel on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey, owned by Hard Rock International.
The casino, originally known as the Trump Taj Mahal, was opened in 1990 by then-owner Donald Trump and cost nearly $1 billion to build.

What is the reason for the Hard Rock’s closing?
In 2018, Virgin Hotels and a group of investors announced plans to renovate and rebrand the Hard Rock Hotel as a Virgin hotel. The Hard Rock closed for renovations on February 3, 2020, and opened on March 2021.
