Lulu International Shopping Mall, Thiruvananthapuram

The newly opened Lulu International Shopping Mall in Aakkulam, Thiruvananthapuram, near Techno Park, the state’s largest IT park, has topped the list of the Lulu Group’s international malls.

The mall recently opened in December 2021. It covers a total area of 2 million square feet. It has four stories and a parking capacity of almost 3,800 vehicles.

There are around 300 stores and services there. It contains 12 Lulu Hypermarkets anchor stores. It was constructed at a cost of Rs.2,000 crore.

It boasts the country’s largest food court, with seating for 2,500 people, featuring regional, international, and multi-specialty cuisines. PVR Cinemas operates a 12-screen superplex multiplex in the mall, including one 4DX screen.

DLF Mall of India, Noida

Size: 2,000,000 sq. ft.

 

DLF Mall of India is a multi-story retail mall with over 330 brands and five distinct shopping zones, as well as a culinary hub with over 75 options and a seven-screen cinema hall (PVR Cinemas).

The shopping mall, which was built by DLF Limited, was supposed to be operational by December 2014, however, it didn’t open to the public until February 2016.

The British engineering firm Benoy built and planned the DLF Mall of India, which features six distinct shopping levels with international and Indian design, a dedicated children’s zone, diversions, global bistros, food hubs, and cafés. It is a well-known shopping, entertainment, and dining destination.

Sarath City Capital Mall, Hyderabad

Size: 1,930,000 sq. ft.

Sarath City Capital Mall is located in Hyderabad’s Kondapur district. It opened in 2018 and covers a total area of 1.93 million square feet.

It has a total parking capacity of about 5,000 vehicles. It is an eight-story shopping mall. It has over 430 stores that sell a variety of Indian and international brands. It also offers Bazaar, an elegantly designed marketplace.

It features a 7-screen AMB movies multiplex, an indoor adventure park, a trampoline park, a snow theme park, and many other attractions.

Two sprawling food courts, as well as a significant number of cafés, bistros, and budget eateries, are available in the retail mall. For social meetings, there are a couple of dance clubs and bars.

Lulu International Shopping Mall, Kochi

Size: 1,850,000 sq. ft.

Edapally, Kochi is home to the Lulu International Shopping Mall. The Lulu Group, located in Dubai, is in charge of its development and operation. It covers 1.85 million square feet.

The mall first opened its doors in 2013. It includes around 300 retail outlets, including food courts, restaurants, and other establishments.

This mall includes ice skating rinks, virtual reality zones, 5D cinemas, amusement arcades, rides, a 6-lane bowling alley, and a climbing wall, among other amenities.

A toy train transports children across the mall floor, a 9-screen PVR multiplex with gold class and 4DX screens, a Marriott hotel with a helipad, and money exchange centers are also available.

Ambience Mall, Gurugram

Size: 1,800,000 sq. ft.

Ambience Mall, often known as ‘The Bohemian of Malls,’ is the apex of India’s shopping malls. It provides not just an outstanding shopping area, but also an unrivaled retail mix combined with entertainment and recreation activities that have revolutionized the way people shop throughout the world.

Ambience Mall contains more than 330 retailers and restaurants. Its parking lot can accommodate up to 5000 automobiles at a time. The shopping center first opened its doors to the general public in 2007. It has received honors for “Best Shopping Center of the Year” and “Most Admired Shopping Center of the Year,” placing it third on our list of India’s Biggest Malls!

This mall features an ice-skating rink named iSkate, a bowling alley called Smaaash, a gaming parlor, and a PVR multiplex featuring an IMAX screen, among other amenities.

World Trade Park, Jaipur

Size: 1,300,000 sq. ft.

The city of Jaipur is known around the world for its engineering marvels such as the Hawamahal and Albert Hall. Jaipur’s World Trade Park is a cutting-edge design marvel as well as the city’s most attractive and largest shopping mall. Its design catches everyone’s attention. The massive shopping mall is divided into two sections: North Square and South Square.

DB City Mall, Bhopal

Size: 1,300,000 sq. ft.

Bhopal’s Maharana Pratap Nagar is home to the DB City Mall. It is the largest shopping mall in Madhya Pradesh and Central India. It covers 1.3 million square feet.

The Dainik Bhaskar company owns and operates the mall, which opened in 2010.

The mall features roughly 135 retail stores, 5 restaurants, different food courts, a Cinepolis 6-screen multiplex, a Timezone gaming zone, and a 5-star hotel Courtyard by Marriott, among other things.

It is Bhopal’s main shopping center, and it first opened to the general public in 2010. There are 6 movie theatres, 5 cafés, a 30,000 square foot food joint, a 15,000 square foot family excursion site, and 135 retail establishments to choose from.

Ambience Mall, Delhi

Ambience Mall is located on Nelson Mandela Marg in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj area, which is known for housing diplomatic missions from all over the world.

Ambience Mall is known for its excursion and entertainment options, as well as its 250+ retail stores of various global brands.

The Disney Store, which offers a unique experience for both children and adults, is one of the shopping center’s highlights.

The mall is known for its amusement activities, which include a 4-screen multiplex, a gaming arena with bowling and arcade games, a disco lounge, a fresh brewery, a children’s play area, and a wellness center, to name a few.

R City Mall, Mumbai

The R City Mall is in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar West neighborhood. The Runwal group designed it, and it first opened to the public in 2009.

The mall has 1.2 million square feet in size. The mall was constructed in two stages. Various Bollywood superstars have visited it in the past to promote their films.

There are almost 350 stores in the shopping center. The mall features 194 shops, 66 restaurants, ten entertainment areas, three ATMs, 13 service areas, and an INOX multiplex theatre.

The mall was built in two phases, with the initial development phase covering 7.5 square feet. The Runwal Group has created this project.

Phoenix Market City Mall, Pune

Size: 1,190,000 sq. ft.

Phoenix Market City is a marketplace in Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix Mills Limited, based in Mumbai, owns and runs multiple malls in India with the same name in locations such as Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. However, with 1.19 million square feet of space, their mall in Pune is the largest by area.

It’s in Pune’s Vimannagar neighborhood. In 2011, it became accessible to the general public. It is located in East Pune, with convenient access to the city’s airport, railway station, and other points of interest.

It is a multi-level structure with approximately 350 retail shops, 2,500 parking spots, more than 50 restaurants, and cafés, 40 luxury boutiques, and 50 flagship stores.

Aside from traditional retail outlets, the mall offers a variety of amenities such as ATMs, a bowling alley, and a 9-screen PVR multiplex, among others.

Elante Mall, Chandigarh

Size: 1,150,000 sq. ft.

 

Elante Mall, which spans five stories and includes a variety of Indian and international brands, has become the go-to shopping destination in Chandigarh. It also includes a courtyard with cafés and a food court with a variety of dining alternatives for shoppers. There’s also an 8-screen PVR multiplex and Fun City, a Landmark Group-run kids’ entertainment zone where kids can relax and have fun with activities like nail art and balloon sculpture, among other things.

Elante Mall, which was built by the L&T Group, is the fourth largest mall in North India. This mall’s retail space covers a total of 1 million square feet.

The mall is multi-leveled, featuring Indian and international retailers, a wonderful food area, cafes and bistros, and a PVR eight-screen movie theatre. The Nexus group of the United States currently owns it.

Phoenix Marketcity Mall, Mumbai

Size: 1,140,000 sq. ft.

Mumbai’s “Phoenix Marketcity” This mall was built by Phoenix Mills and opened to the public in 2011. This is a multi-story mall with over 400 international retail brands, a breathtaking 14-screen cinema, and over 50 restaurants!

One of the most prominent shopping malls in Mumbai is Phoenix Marketcity. It’s also one of India’s best malls, with the right mix of fashion, fun, and food all under one roof. The vast Dublin Square space for events is a centerpiece of the mall. The mall also has a variety of gaming zones, a snow-themed park, and an indoor play area for children.
