The nearest railway station from Jim Corbett is Ramnagar which is approximately 12 kms. from the park. Ramnagar railway station is well connected with Delhi, a direct train named Ranikhet Express runs from Delhi to Ramnagar which is the best suitable train to reach Jim Corbett straight from Delhi. The train runs on a daily basis.

By Road

Alternatively, you can also arrive at Kathgodam station followed by Ramnagar via private taxi or cab which will take around 3 and a half hours via road.

Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambore National Park was established as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955.

The national park is located near the town of Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, the park has been covered to the north by the Banas River whereas to the south by the Chambal River.

By Air: The nearest airport is Sanganer in Jaipur to reach Ranthambore National Park. The distance between Jaipur and Ranthambore is about 180 kms., you can get regular flights for Jaipur from all major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore etc. Once you reach Japiur, hire a direct taxi or bus from Sanganer Airport to reach Ranthambore comfortably.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur Railway Station, which is hardly a distance of 10 km from the park. Tourists can reach Ranthambore park via local bus, taxi, or cab.

By Road: If you come to Ranthambore via road, same is also well connected with all the major cities. You can either take state transport bus service or you can reach through private buses or taxis as well.

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary

Bharatpur bird sanctuary is one of the optimum bird sanctuaries in the world, it is also known as Keoladeo National Park. The Sanctuary was given the status of the National Park on 10th of March 1982, and was declared a World Heritage Site in the month of December in 1985.

It is located in the north western state of Rajasthan. The sanctuary is the only manmade wildlife sanctuary in India, developed by Maharaja of Bharatpur. It covers an area of approximately 29 sq km, which includes 10 sq km comprises of fresh water marshes, lakes and bogs.
